To help District 22 area citizens find ways to cut back on their utility bills, State Senator Cristina Castro (D-Elgin) will be hosting a workshop with the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) Thursday, April 20th from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Fox River Valley Public Library in East Dundee.
Interested attendees are encouraged to register by calling the district office at 847-214-8864.
“It can be very confusing and frustrating trying to understand all the different charges on an electric, gas or phone bill,” Castro said. “Fortunately, this free utility bill clinic can give residents cost-saving information in one convenient location.”
Consumers should bring a copy of their gas, electric and/or phone bill to go over with a CUB representative to learn how they may be able to save money.
