The Elgin Township Democrats are organizing another Food Drive this year and we need your help to help those less fortunate in our community.
Drop Off Times and Locations
Saturday Aug 14, 2021, 10:00am – 1:00pm
- Settler’s Park: 3046 Sutton St., Elgin, IL
- Gail Borden Library: 270 N. Grove Rd., Elgin, IL
- Carl and Cherryl Strathmann’s House – 210 Wing Park Blvd., Elgin, IL
What We Need
- Non-perishable food items such as: cereal, canned foods, granola bars, peanut butter, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, veggies, fruit, meat.
- Cleaning supplies such as: sponges, paper towels, laundry detergent, bleach, all purpose cleaners, dish soap.
- Toiletries such as: soap, deodorant, razors, feminine hygiene products, shower gel, diapers, toilet paper.
All donations and proceeds go to Elgin Cooperative Ministry (ECM) and Food For Greater Elgin (FFGE). Donations by check should be made out to ECM or FFGE.
